Capt’n Crunch is Getting Pretty

We all know that June is fast approaching and with it Pride Run (June 29) and it's a Club Points Race.  As a result, it looks like our Captain has already started his special training for this run.  At odd hours, a certain Japanese member of the team has been receiving strange e-mails from the Captain asking for translation of mystical Japanese beauty products.
Exhibit 1:  Please translate. Is it a body lotion or face scrub?
This is a collagen blended facial cleanser.  It says “all natural moisturizing collagen blended facial cleanser”.  Creamy foam keeps your skin firm yet soft.  Uses something called Hydrating Vail and is a plant based cleansing formula.  It’s designed to give you bouncy soft skin.  It’s fragrance and dye free to boot.

Exhibit 2:  This must have been an important item, as it came in two parter e-mail.  No message.  Just “Please translate” as subject…

Sakurajima Volcano Ash Formula Soap
"Amazing volcanic ash’s absorbing power!  Foaming net included.  Absorbs dirt in your pores.  Washes off clean and leaves moist skin.  Mineral rich bubbly foam."

"This is a soap that is full of natural minerals from Sakurajima Volcano.  Plentiful foam and volcanic ash’s absorbing power will super wash the dirt out of your pores, leaving clear tight skin.  Use the included foaming net to increase the foam power."  …and lists natural items like honey, seaweed extract, molasses as part of its’ ingredients.

Exhibit 3:  Again, just “This one too” in the subject.  He must’ve been in a hurry!
"Kanebo’s URURI Moisturizing Essence Cream.  It’s specially formulated to add extra moisture when your skin feels extra dry, and you would like extra rich moisture treatment.  Smells slightly of Orange Oil."
Whoa.  Exhibit 3 sounds like some seriously intense product!
Conclusion:  Cap’t Crunch must be suffering from saggy skin with black heads with a few extremely dry patches.  Man, it really sucks to go up in age group…

+FUTURE RACE UPDATE+
Finally, unrelated to beauty products is a change to your race schedule by NYRR.
Fitness Games race in September is off NYRR’s calendar.  It was one of the Club Points race.  It’s either print-media is really going downhill or Fitness Magazine decided that running isn’t fitness anymore, but it’s gone.  We liked this race for it’s shortness (4M) and it’s segregation factor (Men and Women run separately).  It looks like it has been replaced temporarily with “NYRR 4M” on the same date (9/7). No word yet on whether if this will turn into Club Points Race.
